For anyone that wants to enjoy their holiday and reduce the hassle of ordering a taxi in Bangkok around the Songkran New Year holidays, GrabTaxi is now offering a special promotional campaign called “Grab Me Songkran” – a collaboration between the Ministry of Tourism and Sports and GrabTaxi.
There’s a 40 baht discount from the final metered fair for an unlimited ride (between 10 – 20 April).The code has unlimited use, and the 25 baht booking fee still applies, however.
To get this promotion
Step 1: Download the GrabTaxi app for free from the Apple App Store, Google Play Store or BlackBerry World. New customers will go through a first time activation process (if you don’t receive your activation code, please call our customer service at 02 021 2500)
Step 2: Book taxi through the GrabTaxi app.Open the app and select your pick-up and drop-off locations then click ‘NEXT’. Key in Promo Code into the ‘PROMO CODE’ field and click “CONFIRM BOOKING”.
Step 3: You will receive an SMS and/or email about the successful promo redemption once you are allocated a taxi.
Step 4: Show the promo confirmation SMS and/or email to the driver and get 40THB discount on your taxi ride the 25THB service fee still applies.
